Windows 95 Setup Instructions
Double-click on the My Computer icon on the Desktop. Double-click on Dial-Up Networking Double-click on the Make New Connection icon There will be a box called “Type a name for the computer you are dialing”. In that box, type “surfVI” Click Next There will be a box called “Telephone number”. Type 775-7873. Don't type anything in the area code box. Click Next Click Finish Right-click on the surfVI icon Click Properties Choose the General tab. There will be a checkbox that says “Use area code and dialing properties ”. Uncheck this box. Click on the Server Types tab at the top of the window Uncheck: Log onto network NetBEUI IPX/SPX Compatible Click OK Close the Dial-Up Networking window.
